Professional Development
Professional Development in the Weld Re-4 School District strives to support staff to engage in professional learning that enhances student achievement.  Professional learning can take place in various ways, through classes, readings, or conversations.  Some opportunities are available for credit.  We provide some in-district classes as well as advertising opportunities offered by others.  If you are interested in professional development, please check out the resources below:

District Opportunities
We offered 28 different classes within the district during the 2012-2013 year.  Watch emails for opportunities.  These classes have been free to district employees through grant funding or because district staff is offering them without additional pay.

If you are interested in teaching a class for other people in the district, the 2013-2014 course proposal form is now available.  Please complete and return to Amy Heinsma, Director of Instruction, for approval.
