The mission of the Technology and Information Services Department is to support all facets of technology use in the district. We support a wide range of hardware and software at a variety of levels including training, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.

The Technology & Information Services Department recognizes that staying safe online is an important concern for our students, parents, and faculty. Internet Safety is not just limited to online predators; some of the other concepts that come to mind include:

  • Cyberbullying,

  • Identity Theft,

  • Social Networking, and

  • Cyber Ethics

Weld RE-4 School District utilizes a state-of-the-art web filter solution to secure our network from external content that is obscene or pornographic. However, technology cannot solve the problem on its own. It is the joint responsibility of the District and parent(s)/guardian(s) to educate students about their responsibilities and establish expectations when using technology. We strongly encourage you to talk with your students about technology use.
